School Proms and School Leavers' Balls are an important part of a child's progression to a young adult as they leave for a new challenge to high school, sixth form college or university.
Recognising that these events are very special to everyone involved, Glynn offers a reduced price to DJ for School Proms Monday to Thursday before 5.00pm.
Glynn's fee for a School Prom are:
Monday to Thursday finishing before 5.00pm: £250.00 for up to 3 hours
Monday to Thursday after 5.00pm: £400.00 for up to 5 hours
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: £500.00 for up to 5 hours
Whilst it is appreciated that School Proms may have a lower budget, Glynn's price reflects his experience and professionalism within the industry. He is fully licensed and insured, with knowledge of the current music scene and using clean edits that are suitable - even though they'll probably sing the lyrics anyway!
It is important for schools and PTAs to remember that their students and pupils attending their leavers party have probably spent over £200.00 on a dress or outfit (not to mention bags and shoes to match!), along with car hire to arrive in style costing nearly £300.00... So why should their efforts and expenses be rewarded with a cheap DJ?
As a School Disco and School Prom DJ based in Southport, Glynn covers Cheshire, Cumbria, the Fylde Coast, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales, Sefton, Shropshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands and Yorkshire incorporating major towns and cities including Birmingham, Blackpool, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Preston and Wigan as well as surrounding areas and nationwide UK coverage.
With a superb sound system, great lighting and a wide knowledge of current and recent chart hits along with older classics and party dances the children know - you can be assured your pupils will love every minute.
Glynn will happily take suggestions from your pupils in the week leading up to your School Prom, Gala or Leavers' Ball for songs they would like to hear played - making the event much more about their involvement to enhance their creativity during the build up rather than just turning up and blasting out the latest 'Now' album on an iPod!
The sound level is kept to a respectable level to protect delicate ears.
As a parent and sound engineer, Glynn knows what the actual respected dB levels are around school children and this itself shows why you should hire a professional and not rely on a teacher just putting music on loudly.
As an example, Glynn's daughter's former Head Teacher thinks he's God's gift and "plays" a guitar (hits one note repeatedly encouraging the kids to scream) with levels consistently above 107dB at a weekly assembly. This is not good practice and shows why a professional in the industry is definitely worth the outlay!
As your School Disco DJ or School Prom DJ, Glynn brings his personal experience and music knowledge to ensure the children will have a great professional mobile disco, with fantastic music, and lighting.
There are plenty of additional ways to enhance your venue for your School Prom, School Disco or School Leavers' Ball too including uplighting in the school's colour(s), confetti cannons, or a large screen to display photos of the pupils throughout their time at the school.
